Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Thank you so much for all the support towards our cake sale to raise money for Macmillan. The morning cake auction and the selling of cakes during the day and after school has raised £282.72.
The children enjoyed their break time cakes and well done School Council for helping to organise it all.

This will take place over Term 6, further information can be found on the class pages.
Some of our Year 3 and 4 children had the chance to have a go at netball at the Boston and District Netball Development Event on Wednesday 2nd March. Boston High School Sports Leaders put them through their paces, introducing them to passing, shooting and movement skills used in the sport of netball. Our children really enjoyed themselves and are keen to continue giving it a go when they get back to school!
Twelve Year 5 and Year 6 pupils competed at the Kirton Middlecott Dance Festival today.
The children had choreographed a piece, in their dance/drama class on Wednesdays after school club, to the music from Pirates of the Caribbean and were praised by the judges for their use of Canon and Unison within their work.
Judges were also particularly impressed with their use of motion to symbolise the movement of the ocean and the drama of the sea along with telling a story through dance.
This is the second year that Hawthorn Tree Dance/Drama Group have won the competition, having also won in 2020 prior to lockdown.
We could not be prouder of the boys and girls who competed today with wonderful enthusiasm, a fantastic team spirit and a supportive attitude toward all participants.
Well Done Everyone!
Well done to all the children from Years 5 and 6 that represented the school last Friday at the Sports Hall Athletics Event at the Peter Paine Centre at Boston College. The children were involved in a variety of track and field events including sprinting, javelin and long jump. They competed enthusiastically against 8 other schools but were finally beaten by Tower Road overall by just 6 points. This means that they were the Runner Ups overall and came back to school with 2nd place medals and our first trophy of 2022! Congratulations to all the children that took part- all adults that went along said that they were such good sports; kind and supportive to one another and other competitors. A big thank you to Miss. Sykes and Mrs. Blakeborough for taking the children to the event and to Mrs. Ingamells for organising this.
Pudsey visited our school much to the excitement of all. Children and adults in school dressed in their Pudsey/non-uniform clothes for the occasion and in total we raised £392.13. This is an amazing amount - thank you for your support with this worthwhile cause. The children enjoyed Pudsey arts and craft as well as Pudsey challenges throughout the day.
