KS1 Christmas Production - The Nativity
Tue 13 Dec 2022This year in KS1 we wanted to go back to a traditional performance of 'The Nativity'. We had lots of fun retelling the story of the birth of Jesus and all the children worked extremely hard learning their lines, songs and Makaton signs. Staff and children worked hard on props, costumes and rehearsals to ensure that all audiences thoroughly enjoyed the show.
This year we were lucky to be able to invite in a variety of audiences for the most time in a few years with our first being The Haven Care Home who all had a fantastic time with the Year 2 children staying to offer tea, biscuits and a chat afterwards. This was followed by audiences from the preschool, EYFS and KS2 and finally parents.
Parents had an extra special treat with meet and greet of Christmas Carols and real sheep as they entered the school this year. They too were invited back to the classroom after the performance for mince pies and to view their children's Christmas activities.
A big thank you goes out to all the parents for supporting the children with learning their lines and some amazing costumes.
