Phonics

If you are in Group A then work on the set 2 sound videos.

If you are in Group B then work on the set 3 sound videos.

 

Please encourage your child to read the books below too! The books are labelled for each group.

 

English 

Today you are going to have some fun using your role-play skills! Please cut out the finger puppets of the characters from 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and use them to retell the story. Have a think about all of our learning from this week... Think about what the characters might say to each other and how they feel. 

Maths

For today's live lesson we will be continuing to consolidate some of the skills taught last term, we will begin by practising skip counting in 2s and 5s, we will then move on to practising our number bonds within 20. Please remember to have your worksheets to complete during today's lesson.

R.E

Our new RE topic in R.E is 'Easter'. To begin with, we will be learning about Lent and how this is important to Christians.

 

Easter is the time when Christians remember Jesus and his death. The time before Easter is called Lent. Christians remember that Jesus did not give in to temptation and kept his promises to God.

 

Please look at the PowerPoint presentation all about Lent. If you had to give something up, what would it be? Some people give up chocolate for Lent. Other people deice that they would like to do additional good deeds to help others instead.
