Phonics

For your phonics session today we would like you to tune into the Ruth Miskin phonics channel on YouTube. Here is the link:

If you are in Group A, please work on the set 2 sound videos.

If you are in Group B, please work on the Set 3 sound videos.

 

Please encourage your child to read the books below too! The books are labelled for each group.

English

Please have another look at our text 'Jack and the Beanstalk' by using the PowerPoint below. You will then be writing about what you think the characters might be saying to each other at certain points throughout the story. Think carefully about what is happening in the picture. Are the characters sad or mad? Will they be asking questions? How will they respond to one another? 

Maths

We look forward to seeing for today's live lesson in which we will be continuing to consolidate some of the skills taught last term. Today's lesson will look at skip counting in 5s, we will look at grouping objects into groups of 5. You could also use your fingers to practise counting in groups of 5 too. Remember to have your learning packs ready so we can look at today's activity together.

P.E

Today in P.E, please log into your Real P.E. account. Follow today's activities which are based on the theme of Space. First there is a warm up game called 'Home Planet' then the skills section is continuing your learning on jumping and landing - developing your astronaut skills! You will continue with the yellow video.
