English

Today you are going to have some fun using your role-play skills! Please cut out the finger puppets of the characters from 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and use them to retell the story. Have a think about all of our learning from this week... Think about what the characters might say to each other and how they feel. 

Maths

For today's live lesson we will be continuing to consolidate some of the skills taught last term, we will begin by practising skip counting in 2s and 5s, we will then move on to practising our number bonds within 20. Please remember to have your worksheets to complete during today's lesson.

Our new RE topic is looking at the Christian Festival of Easter. To begin with we will be thinking about Lent and how this is important to Christians.

Easter is the time when Christains remember Jesus and his death, The time before Easter is called Lent. Christians remember that Jesus did not give in to temptation and kept his promises to God.

 

We will look at  a powerpoint about Lent and then think about how Christians give up something for Lent to remember this. What would you give up? Some people give up chocolate for lent and they also try to do good deeds to help others like tidying your bedroom or helping your grown up with tea.
