Today we are going to be reading and discussing a superhero from Greek times. His name was Heracles (or the Roman name was Hercules). We are going to read the story, highlight the key words and complete our word match. If will be easier if you can complete the synonyms in your own time when you can look them up.

Maths INDEPENDENT Task

The activity you are doing is a hands-on activity for which you will need something like Lego. If you don’t have Lego, you could use other building blocks or cubes or Duplo, but they will need to be the same size. In the activity you can choose what you would like to measure.

The new unit for DT is robots and you are going to be looking at different ways to make joins. This is paper engineering for which we have included a piece of card and split pins. You will need to follow the instructions carefully. If you make a mistake don’t worry you can always have another go with a different piece of card or cereal box.
