Monday 8th February

English

Today's live lesson is English. We will begin with phonics and then we would like the children to share their stories from Friday.

Once the children have shared their stories, we will begin to discuss the focus for this week which i s Chinese New Year. After the session, the children will use the pictures from the story in order to sequence and retell the story.

Maths

The children will be beginning to look at skip counting in twos, there is a video link below to help with this and is a fun way to practise. Please look at objects around the house that are grouped into twos, for example, shoes, socks, gloves etc; you could also use toys or dried pasta to practise counting and grouping objects into twos.
