• Lantern Trail

  Hawthorn Tree School have been invited to take part in a lantern trail organised by Boston Borough Council and Transported which will take place on Thursday 26th November. Follow the link below for further details and ideas for lanterns. Please bring completed lanterns to  school by Thursday 12th November, if you create a glass lantern, please drop this off at the school office.

• Art Challenge

  The Arts Ambassadors would like to set the classes in Key Stage One and Key Stage Two an Art challenge. They would like the children to create a picture in the style of a set artist each full term. The entries will be judged and displayed and a prize will be awarded for the best one from each Key Stage. For the first term the children have selected Monet. The picture can be drawn, painted, collaged, mixed media or created on a computer. The piece of work will need to be labelled with the child’s name and class. The first competition will end on Thursday 3rd December and prizes will be awarded week beginning 7^th December. This is a piece that is expected to be completed at home. The children will be told about it through assemblies and the website.
