Today in our EYFS and KS1 group we made our own binoculars and spoke about what animals we would find if we went on a safari. After our discussion we ventured onto the field and used our binoculars to find all of the animals on our ‘checklist’.
The children did a fabulous job at finding all of the safari animals that were hidden around our school field. As you can see from the photos the panda was peeping from behind a tree, the monkey was hiding in the ivy and the rhino was hiding right at the end of the field in the trees! A fantastic day it’s been. It was lovely to get to know some of you who I haven’t taught before.
