Phonics

The children will continue to follow the Read, Write Inc phonics in school. 

Please continue to practise your child's letter sounds and reading their word card daily.  All children now have a reading book.  Please read with you child every day and comment in their home school diary. 

On Friday's we will not be doing Read, Write Inc but instead doing focused Literacy lessons.  Some of these lessons will include writing a rhyming poem, writing about their half term break, writing sentences to describe a photograph etc.
