Today the children will be finding number bonds to 10 and recording them in a part-whole model.

Below is the song, '10 green bottles'.  Your child needs to sing the song and at each stage a bottle falls they need to tell you how many are on the wall and how many are on the floor and how many they have altogether.  Then your children should record this in their part-whole model.  Some children may then record this as a number sentence.  

Children should then join in with the Jack Hartmann video below to recall all the number bonds of 10.
