Year 3/4 finish 2nd in Athletics Competition

Eight schools competed in our Sportshall Athletics Event on Friday 27th January. 21 children from Hawthorn Tree made up our school team representing the school in a variety of sprint races, jumps, and throws. The children were fantastic and had a great determination to put in their best performances for the team. Times and distances were calculated, and points were awarded to all of the teams competing. We are so proud of the children for their efforts on the day and are delighted with the final results where we finished in 2nd place, taking home silver medals to be proud of!
