Year 1 - Miss Banks/Mrs Wright
In the Hedgehog's Class, there will be Miss Banks (Monday-Wednesday), Mrs Wright (Thursday and Friday), Miss Moore, Miss Chapman and Miss Stones supporting your child's learning.
Please check this page regularly to see what your child has been learning in year 1. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Important Information
Monday - Spelling day - Please ensure your child practices their spellings at home and brings their completed spelling folder ready for their spelling test every Monday.
Wednesday - Inside PE (Please come to school in your PE kit).
Thursday - Outside PE (Please come to school in your PE kit).
Everyday - Please ensure your child brings their reading book and reading record to school everyday. These are stored in their homework folder to protect their books.

9.9.25 - today in RE we talked about how to behave in a church and what the word respect means.
16.09.25 - Today during computing, the children learnt all about being kind and considerate both online and in person. After this, the children played some games showing kindness to each other.
15.09.25 - Today during computing, we looked at feelings, the children were eager to show the feelings on their own faces. We talked about what can cause these feelings especially when online.
15.09.25 - Today in a history, we looked at and labelled a picture of Boston Stump and then made our own out of Lego!
12.9.25 Today in RE we talked about Christianity and what a vicar does. Here are some photos of our peg doll vicars.
9.9.25 - Today, during our History lesson, the children learnt a little bit about Boston Stump. The children were even able to see it from our playground! The children then drew Boston Stump in their books.
