Thursday 4th February

English

Today's live session is English. We will start our session with phonics and then you will be sharing and discussing ideas for writing your very own story! You will need to think about the characters you will have in your story, what your setting is going to be and how the plot will unfold. I know you will have lots of super ideas. I can't wait to hear them!

Maths

Please remember to practise counting to 50 daily.

You can also use the videos below to practise counting in tens and counting to 50 by making tens.

History

This week in History we are thinking about different rooms. We are going to compare a Victorian Kitchen and a modern Kitchen.

Look at the powerpoint Can we be room detectives and talk about what you can see. How were kitchens different in Victorian Times? When you have had a think we would like you to try the task.

Some of you will be listing the differnces and some of you will be writing sentences about the differences you can see.

For extra information you can look at the powerpoint called Comparing Victorian and modern homes.
