English Live Lesson

Today's live session is English. We will begin with phonics and then we will be exploring the meaning of new vocabulary, using our key text 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. After discussing some of the vocabulary from the text, we will then draw some pictures to represent the meaning of them. This process is called dual coding. 

Maths

This week in maths we will be exploring measurement and non-standard units of measure. Today we will begin by comparing the length of objects and using the language long/longer/longest and short/shorter/shortest. There is a powerpoint below to support the learning, and you could look at comparing the length of objects in and around the home and then complete the worksheets in your learning packs. Please remember to continue counting in twos, fives and tens. 

P.E.

Today in P.E. we would like  you to log in to your Real P.E. account. Follow todays activites which are  based on the theme of Space.

First there is a warm up game called

Asteroid Shower then the skills section is continuing to practise your jumping and landing - developing your astronaut skills. You will continue with the yellow video and move on to the Green video if you feel confident.

Music

In this lesson you will learn to improvise and begin to compose a rhythm with a 4 beat pattern. We would love to see some pictures of you practising your music on seesaw.
