Welcome to our School Website

Our website gives lots of information about our school and community. We try to provide a real  flavour of what it’s like to be at Hawthorn Tree School especially for our children. We update the site frequently, so keep visiting to see the changes.
We have included links to a range of other excellent websites to provide learning activities for children and information for Parents and Carers. Our latest links provide lots of advice and information about E-safety. Our Parents section includes links to Lincolnshire and wider support for Parenting, Child Protection and Safeguarding. This section also includes information and advice on Phonics and how you can support and help at home.

New this month...

Our school year 2011-12 is moving on quickly, we are now at the end of Term 4 with the Easter Holiday here.

It has been a lovely term with lots to celebrate. Our March Parents Evenings were very well attended and our children were thrilled to share their learning with Mums & Dads.

In Sport we have not only won the Medium size Boston Primary Schools Swimming Gala Cup, we have also won the Boston Area Netball Trophy and are through to the County Finals and ... for the first time in our schools history, we have also won the Boston Area Primary Schools Football League Competition AND the Woodthorpe Cup. Tremendous achievements in this Olympic Year. Our fantastic sporting successes have been made possible very much with the outstanding support we enjoy from our Parents ~ thank you.

Building work is scheduled to be complete by September 2012, by which time our school will be enlarged and updated, providing an even better learning environment for our children. Over the Easter holiday as well as running our Year 6 Easter  School we are also moving Mrs Myers, Miss Docherty, Miss Glew and Mrs Reynolds classes alongside our Offices into the first phase of our new building development.

Our end of Term 4 Newsletter gives all the dates available for Term 5.
