2017-2018 Academic Year

Tuesday 27th March 2018 - this morning we took part in several activities promoting problem solving and team building ran by the Happy Puzzle Company. The children had so much fun and enjoyed taking part in all the games.

On Thursday 8th March we enjoyed celebrating World Book Day. We dressed up as our favourite characters and wrote a book review about our favourite book.

Today we did our Christmas performance. We had a great time singing all of the Christmas songs we have been learning over the last few weeks. We hope you all had a fantastic time.

On the 14th December we had the most amazing time celebrating at our Christmas party. We played lots of different party games, had party food and even got a gift from Santa! Merry Christmas everyone.

On the 5th of December we enjoyed our Christmas lunch.

Today we met Pudsey Bear as part of our celebrations and learning about Children In Need day.

Today the children in my class enjoyed baking ginger biscuits. We shaped them like pumpkins and created spooky faces on then. Next we decorated them using orange icing sugar and sprinkles. Happy Halloween!

Today we have enjoyed using leaves and Autumn materials to make a painting. We put paint on to the leaves and pressed them on the paper to create a textured leaf print.

We have collected lots of conkers and put them in our mud kitchen. We are enjoying making 'food' and counting out the amount of conkers we need for each recipe.

We have enjoyed a spooktacular day carving pumpkins and exploring using our senses.

Today we have had fun making pumpkin collages. We scrunched, ripped, cut and folded materials to create a textured pumpkin collage.

We have really enjoyed making hedgehog collages using crunchy Autumn leaves.
