2018-2019 Academic Year

On Thursday 7th March Year 2 visited Lincolnshire Wildlife Park. We had a guided tour where we learned lots of information about the animals at the zoo.

Jess (the zoo keeper) asked us to make enrichment boxes for the lemurs and meerkats. We decorated the boxes and cut holes in them to make tunnels, then we were given food to put inside. The animals then go into the boxes to play and search for food.

The most exciting part was stroking the bearded dragon and holding the Golden Python. Everyone got the chance to do both (if they wanted to) and we all agreed the snake felt beautiful.
