Roald Dahl Day

Last week we celebrated World Book Week and on Friday 4th November we held a Roald Dahl Day to celebrate 100 years since his birth. All the children came to school dressed as their favourite Roald Dahl character, they looked fantastic! Over the day the children read and heard some of his most famous stories, including James and the Giant Peach, The BFG, The Twits, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and many more.

The School Council organised and held a book sale, (thank you to parents for donating the books), which raised £213.64. The money raised will be split between all classes to buy new books for their classrooms.
